Alexandre Guy Francesco de Rothschild (1980-)
Alexandre Guy Francesco de Rothschild is the son of Baron David de Rothschild (b.1942) and Baronne Olimpia Anna Liliane de Rothschild (née Aldobrandini) (b.1955).
Alexandre graduated from the Ecole Superieure du Commerce Exterieur, and worked in in Private Equity and M&A with Argan Capital, a mid-cap private equity house, Bear Stearns Investment Banking in New York and Bank of America in London. In 2008, he joined Rothschild, to focus primarily on the establishment and business development of the Merchant Banking platform within the Group, and he subsequently ran Paris Orléans Proprietary Investments, and headed the Japan office.
Since 2011 he has been a member of the Group Executive Committee. He was appointed a General Partner of Rothschild & Cie Banque and Rothschild & Cie in Paris in 2013. On 17 April 2018, Rothschild & Co announced the appointment of Alexandre de Rothschild as Executive Chairman of Rothschild & Co, succeeding his father, Baron David de Rothschild.

The Hon. Beth Mathilda Rothschild is the daughter of Nathaniel Charles (Jacob), 4th Lord Rothschild (b.1936) and Serena Mary, Lady Rothschild (née Dunn) (b.1935). She married Antonio Goffredo Tomassini (b.1959) in 1991. Together with her husband she is involved with a number of charitable and humanitarian organizations. She is a Vice President of the Wiltshire Blind Association, and she is a trustee of the Rothschild Foundation.
Charlotte Henriette de Rothschild (1955-)
Charlotte de Rothschild is an internationally renowned lyric soprano. Charlotte studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Royal College of Music in London. She studied with Vera Rozsa and Oaul Hamburger. She specialises in Oratorio and the Art of Song.
Charlotte specialises in the Art of Song, performing in 19 languages, including Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Her many CDs include French and German art songs, unique albums of English composers and three albums of classical Japanese Kakyoku, including one with the City of London Sinfonia conducted by Michael Collins.

David de Rothschild is the youngest son of Sir Evelyn de Rothschild (b.1931) and Victoria Lou Schott (1949-2021). He is an adventurer, ecologist, and environmentalist. He heads the Sculpt the Future Foundation, a charity that promotes positive environmental change towards global sustainability by supporting creative, innovative and sustainable action.

David René James de Rothschild (1942-)
Baron David René James de Rothschild was born 15 December 1942, in New York, where his parents had travelled for safety during the Second World War. He is the son of Guy Edouard Alphonse Paul de Rothschild (1909-2007)and Alix Hermine Jeanette Schey von Koromla (1911-1982). While his mother remained in New York throughout the war, his father went back to Europe where he joined the Free French Forces. After the war, the family returned home to Paris, where he was educated at Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris in Paris, graduating in 1966.

Baron Edouard Etienne Alphonse de Rothschild is the son of Baron Guy Edouard Alphonse Paul de Rothschild (1909-2007) and Baronne Marie Hélène Naila Stephanie Josina de Rothschild (née van Zuylen de Nyevelt) (1927-1996). He is the half-brother of Baron David René de Rothschild (b.1942).
Edouard was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine. He studied law at Panthéon-Assas University in France and in 1985 graduated with an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. In 1982, he married Mathilde Marie Alexe Christiane Abdy (b.1952); in 1991, he married Arielle Marie Malard (b. 1963).

Emma Georgina Rothschild is the daughter of Nathaniel Mayer (Victor), 3rd Lord Rothschild (1910-1990) and Teresa Georgina, Lady Rothschild (née Mayor) (1915-1996).
Emma Rothschild is an economic historian and Professor of History at Harvard University. She is also the director of the Joint Centre for History and Economics at Harvard University and an honorary Professor of History and Economics at the University of Cambridge. At the age of 15, she became the youngest woman ever admitted to Somerville College, Oxford University, from which she graduated with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 1967. She was a Kennedy Scholar in Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 1978 to 1988, she was an associate professor at MIT in the Department of Humanities and the Program on Science, Technology, and Society and also taught at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France.
Eric Alain Robert David de Rothschild (1940-)
Baron Eric de Rothschild was born on 3 October 1940 in New York, where his mother, Mary Chauvin du Treuil (1916-2014), had travelled for safety during the Second World War. His father, Alain de Rothschild (1910-1982), remained in France and was a German prisoner of war. After the war Eric and his family returned to France, and he received an international education, in England, Paris and he then studied engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
His first professional experience was in the family-owned shipping company Saga. During the 1970s he moved to the Banque Rothschild in Paris, where he focused on corporate finance. Later he went back to Saga, of which he was chairman.

Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild (1931-)
Sir Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild was born on 29 August 1931. He is the only son of Anthony Gustav de Rothschild (1887-1961) and Yvonne Lydia Louise née Cahen d’Anvers. He was named after his uncle Evelyn Achille de Rothschild who was killed in action during the First World War. Like many of his cousins, Sir Evelyn spent some of his childhood in America during the Second World War. Upon his return he was educated at Harrow School, London and at Trinity College, Cambridge University.
Hannah Mary Rothschild (1962-)
The Hon. Hannah Mary Rothschild is the daughter of Nathaniel Charles (Jacob), 4th Lord Rothschild (b.1936) and Serena Mary, Lady Rothschild (née Dunn) (b.1935). She is a writer and documentary filmmaker, and she also serves on the boards of various philanthropic trusts and museums.
Her documentary film works include profiles of Frank Auerbach, Walter Sickert, R. B. Kitaj and the BBC series Relative Values and The Great Picture Chase. For BBC’s Storyville series and HBO she produced The Jazz Baroness (2008), about her great-aunt Pannonica (Nica) de Koenigswarter and Hi Society (2009), followed by a documentary about Lord Mandelson, Mandelson: The Real PM? (2010).

After graduating from the Courtauld Institute, Kate began her career in the early 1970s in the Drawings Department of the Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the Old Master Drawings Department at Sotheby’s, before becoming a dealer specialising in Old Master and 19th Century drawings from 1974-2007. She has published numerous scholarly catalogues, and as well as exhibiting at the major art fairs of London, Paris and New York, she has been on the vetting committees of the London and New York fairs. As Chairman of the Patrons of the British Museum from 2007-2013, she coordinated charitable giving across the entire breadth of the collections. She is a trustee of The Wallace Collection.
In 1971 she married the banker and financier Marcus Agius.

Jacob was educated at Eton College and then at Christ Church, Oxford, where he gained a First in history, tutored by Hugh Trevor-Roper. In 1961, he married Serena Mary Dunn (1935-2019), a granddaughter of the Canadian financier Sir James Dunn.

He is the chairman of JNR Limited, an investment advisory business primarily focused on emerging markets and the metals, mining and resources sector. He was co-chairman of Bumi plc, a natural resources group, that he helped create and that is listed on London Stock Exchange. He was co-chairman of the hedge fund Atticus Capital from 1996 until its dissolution in 2009. He is the former chairman of Vivarte, a pan-European retailer and owner of the Kookai clothing brand.
